Antiochus IV Epiphanes

A Hellenistic king of the Seleucid Empire from 175 BC until his death in 164 BC. Known for his near-conquest of Egypt and his strict persecution of the Jews of Judea and Samaria, which sparked the Maccabean Revolt.

Peter the Hermit

A priest of Amiens and a key figure during the First Crusade. He is famed for leading the People's Crusade, rallying tens of thousands of commoners across Europe to march towards Jerusalem in 1096.

King Edward I

Known as "Edward Longshanks," he was King of England from 1272 to 1307. He is noted for reforming the common law, establishing Parliament as a permanent institution, and his brutal military campaigns against Wales and Scotland.

Adolf Hitler

The dictator of Germany from 1933 to 1945, rising to power as the leader of the Nazi Party. His aggressive foreign policies ignited World War II in Europe, and his regime orchestrated the Holocaust.

Henry Ford

An American industrialist and the founder of the Ford Motor Company. He revolutionized the automobile industry through the development of the assembly line technique of mass production, making the Model T accessible to the middle class.
